From Green Smoothies to homemade fruit rollups, we're on a mission to teach our children how to eat healthy, to prevent disease and cancer and to enjoy every meal for it's taste and nutritional benefits. We're not raw foodists, vegetarians or vegans. We're just doing our best to eat like we live in the Garden of Eden. Our Principles are to make our own food, to eat our greens, to eat living foods as much as possible and to cook less, blend and dehydrate more.

Poor Blog...
I feel like its been so neglected. But don't really have anything to blog about today. Maybe tomorrow?
Is everyone still drinking a quart of green smoothies every day?
Hi Sam! Cheryl, that is good news! I have to tell you that Ryan and I got a little bit lazy the two weeks before our trip to Florida and then we didn't have green smoothies at all while we were there. We were drinking one a day for the two weeks before and then none and now we're back on one... It got expensive and our budget was a little more tight as we were saving for our trip. We ate very well on the trip! Lots of delicious, fresh foods.
Anyway, I wanted to tell you that we both have noticed a significant DECREASE in our energy levels and our overall moods since being off a quart a day of green smoothies.. My arthritis pains have returned a bit. We're still holding steady at our original weight loss, bur I can really tell a difference in my tummy area and my face is not glowing like it was. WOW! After a while, I started to wonder if I was imagining all these benefits to green smoothies and now I can say with an emphatic "YES," that they really are magic and wonderful.
This morning I made one of our favorites: fresh, organic grapefruit and sprouts. So delicious. I could drink them every day, but juicing those grapefruits is a bit of work.
Not yet. We sprout beans sometimes before we eat them, but so far, we haven't started sprouting for the sake of keeping live sprouts around. We should, though. Seriously.
We are drinking green smoothies twice a day. I am losing some weight and tightening up. Seems like a good thing. :)

Do you do your own sprouting?
